SeaWorld San Antonio

History

Sea World San Antonio, located west side of the city, opened on May 27th, 1988. 75,000 attended the grand opening which left cars lining the nearby roads, despite there being plenty of parking. The theme park in San Antonio is the largest of the SeaWorld parks built on 250 acres of South Texas farm/ranch land. The park is home to incredible thrill rides, wildlife, and attracts thousands of guests every year. It has also employed thousands of people in its 30+ year history. While no known issues coincide with the land, the area was American Indian Land, specifically of the Coahuiltecan tribe.

Legend

Each Halloween SeaWorld transforms into a world class haunted attraction that has been known to be so scary, calls to 9-1-1 have been placed by patrons from inside the haunted houses. Could this translate to what’s going on the rest of the year?

Employees talk about seeing shadows backstage at shows, hear screams, footsteps, and voices. They’ve spotted bare wet footprints, and even seen a man in yellow rain gear. There have been numerous reports of paranormal activty by many different people all over the park.
